Cool place! Beers, pirates pearls, and an oyster Po'boy! Yum! Server was quick, with-it, and very pleasant!

From the outside - cute little putt-putt area outside for the kids or while you're waiting. I believe it's $3 for kids and $5 for adults. There's also a gift shop and a detached bar area down the walkway. AYCE Snow Crab is on Fri/Sat, starts at 5:00pm and is $48 per person. We really enjoyed it and they kept them coming! Much better than a buffet in my opinion. Others at the table ordered hot wings and the shrimp sampler and everything was good! Service was as good as it could've been with a restaurant full of people eating pounds and pounds of crab legs.

3 adults and one child. The food was very good. The quantity was also a pleasant surprise. We eat here every year when we come to St. George.

The service was good- kitchen accidentally got my food wrong the first time but they were super accommodating with my son's food allergies (nuts) and we had a ball playing on the mini golf course.

Food was great and a lot of it at a reasonable price. Place was busy but no complaints about the service. Ambiance, family casual dining. I almost didn't go because of one review that they had bland food . However, there were other reviews that said the food was good. I'm glad I went with the majority of the other views . My food as well as my wife's had plenty of flavor and was delicious.

Finding a restaurant in an unfamiliar area with dog friendly seating on the way to a final destination is always stressful - so I was super grateful to have stumbled upon The Red Pirate! We were ready for a family beach day and of course, the one day everyone was back in town and excited for the beach, the weather was precarious and it ended up storming while en route to St. George Island. Not sure what to do, we decided to grab lunch first. And after some finagling of Google Maps and Yelp, we found Red Pirate. We were worried about dogs being allowed, as we had two small dogs with us but the covered patio was perfect, and we were joined by another family's two dogs. The menu was simple but had everything we wanted. We ended up ordering tons of fried seafood. I made sure to order a fried oyster basket with curly fries - which came with hush puppies, too. My parents ordered the fried Captain's Platter and loved it. Overall, a great meal that's good for big groups and definitely recommend whether or not you've got a dog in tow while en route to St. George Island!

Lunch at the Red Pirate was good. Not busy on a Monday. Sat in the bar and got great service from the bartender. Had raw oysters (very good), fried oysters (excellent) and the shrimp combo (coconut fried (okay), grilled (great flavor but a little overcooked and fried (good). We go every year during our week on nearby SGI and will continue to do so.
